Below you can find a list of instruments available at our department, each of them is briefly described

1) Fluorometers for the measurement of chlorophyll fluorescence in plants
a) Fluorescence and absorption system Walz Dual-PAM-100 – simultaneous measurement of chlorophyll fluorescence induction and redox state of P700 and plastocyanin, measurement with leaves and suspensions; photo
b) Fluorometr Walz PAM 2000 - measurement of chlorophyll fluorescence induction, measurement with leaves and suspensions; photo
c) Fluorometer Hansatech Plant Efficiency Analyser - measurement of chlorophyll fluorescence induction, measurement with leaves and suspensions; photo
d) Fluorescence imaging system PSI FluorCam 700MF – 2D measurement of chlorophyll fluorescence induction from whole sample area, measurement with leaves; photo

2) Fluorometers for the measurement of time-resolved and steady-state fluorescence
a) Spectrofluorometer Hitachi F4500 - measurement of fluorescence emission and excitation spectra in the range of 200-900 nm, corrected spectra in the range of 200-600 nm; photo 
b) Fluorometer for time-resolved fluorescence measurement PicoQuant FluoTime 200 - measurement of fluorescence lifetime (approximately in the range of 100 ps - 100 ns), anisotropy decay, FRET, DAS, TRES, detection of molecule interactions and dynamics of molecules, organic molecules and biomolecules; method of correlated photon counting (TCSPC), pulse light sources: LED 298 nm, LED 308 nm, laser LED 445 nm, detection of emission in the range of 300-820 nm, the best time resolution of 4 ps/channel; photo

4) Instruments for the measurement of gas exchange by a plant (gasometers)

5) Apparatus for the measurement of chlorophyll content in leaves (chlorophyllmeter)
Chlorophylmeter SPAD 502 - portable instrument for measurement of chlorophyll content in plant leaves, non-destructive measurement, measurement of leaf absorbance at 650 nm and 940 nm; photo 

6) Instruments for the measurement of the spectrum of incident light (radiometers)
a) Portable spectral radiometer Li-COR LI-1800 - measurement of spectra of incident light and measurement of irradiance of photosynthetically active radiation, portable version; calibrated measurement of spectra of incident radiation in spectral range 300-1100 nm with spectral width 6 nm; photo
b) Integral radiometer Li-COR LI-189 - integral measurement of irradiance of incident photosynthetically active radiation (400-700 nm), portable version; photo 

7) Home-made apparatus for the measurement of surface electric potential of plants
measurement of changes of surface electric potential of plants, spreading of electric potential in plants, measurement in leaves, possibility of non-destructive measurement; photo

8) Apparatus for the measurement of thermal stability of cell and thylakoid membranes
detection of electric conductance of surrounding medium and fluorescence signal upon linear heating of plant sample, home-made but the development of commercially available version is in progress, see....; photo 

9) Home-made apparatus for the measurement of thermoluminescence
measurement of thermoluminescence in the range of -190-90 oC; photo 

10) Plant growth chambers for the cultivation of plants under defined conditions
a) Plant growth chamber Snijders Scientific Microclima 1750 - cultivation of plants under defined temperature, humidity and irradiance, programmable, imitation of nightfall and daybreak, irradiance up to 900 µmol of photons of PAR . m-2 . s-1photo
